Registration Requirements:

• Timestamp, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Parents Full Name, Country, Age
• All fields shall be mandatory. Timestamp auto generated. Age (drop down 4 to 9 and 10 to 17), Country (drop down, please do not list controversial countries)
• A unique registration number and link to upload the video shall be generated as well as sent to the registered email address.

Competition Rules and timeline:

• The Registration Portal for IQC'2021 is now open, Girls and Boys of age group 4 - 17 from any part of the world can register in this competition in their respective age groups.
• The Registrations will remain open till May 31, 2021. There will be limited quota (200 each group), once it is reached, Registration shall be closed.
• Interested candidates can register and upload their Qur'an recitation video on our website on or before June 15, 2021.
• Candidates must record a video of a recitation (2 to 3 min) based on their age group. Audio only submission will be rejected due to the fact this is a Qur’an (memorization) competition.
• Judgement on the preliminary round (using the submitted videos) will happen in the month of June.
• Top 10 Students will be selected by our judges from each group and the competition will officially commence from July 10, 2021.
• The top 10 contestants in each group will go through Semifinals and Finals on LIVE YT and FB starting July 10th Saturday 12 PM EST.
• Candidates must turn on video during competition to prove that they are reciting from memory, otherwise memorization points will be deducted from the total score.
• If a contestant is caught reciting by looking, the full memorization points will be deducted.
• The Grand Finale & Price Distribution will be on August 14 Saturday 12 PM EST.
• Judges’ decision is final and the result cannot be contested.
• The competition will be held virtually over ZOOM or similar platforms.

Instructions to upload Video

• Recitation video can be from 2 mins-3 mins long.
• You must look straight at the camera while recording the video.
• Audio only submissions will be rejected as this is a Qur'an memorization competition.
• Video must be in mp4 format.
• Video file size cannot be more than 50 MB**
• Video submission will be used for evaluation in preliminary round. In case you qualify to progress to live rounds, you will be notified via email.
